Join us for our first ever North East Pups and Handlers (NEPAH) Walkies with Pride in Newcastle upon Tyne.
We hope this will become an annual event and are inviting pups play enthusiasts from all over the country to join us on Saturday 16th July for the Northern Pride Parade.
The parade participants assemble on Ceremonial Way outside the Civic Centre from 11am. Ceremonial Way is the path that separates the council office from the church grounds if you’re not sure where it is look out for the pride banner or NEPAH flag. We’re going to suggest meeting between 11:15 to 11:30am (no later) to make sure we have time to get together and get our place in the parade, without having to wait around too long, we know how impatient pups get!
The march will start at 12pm and work its way through the city centre and end at the town moor at around 1pm where the pride main event is held. The park is open until 8pm.
Northern Pride’s theme this year is Be Yourself, change the world #BeProud! We can’t think of a better way than to encourage everyone to dress up, pup out and enjoy yourselves!
There is no dress code, but this is a public event and children will be present, so no tail plugs and no bare bums please. Show tails are encouraged though!
