It's been a while since the last newsletter, I've been busy with updating the website and organising events.
There are several important things to announce though, so please read below!
Blogs are now live on the website. Anyone can add blogs to the blog list by using this link: http://www.puppypride.co.uk/profile/manage-blogs/edit-blog
You can pick the time that it becomes active for people to see, and pick if unregistered users can see it or not.
Any pictures uploaded to your profile can be used in blogs, or you can upload new ones. The same goes for events.
There is no limit to the amount of blogs that you can post!
Our new Chat Room went live at noon today and can be found here: http://www.puppypride.co.uk/chat
Our chat rooms use HTML5, meaning that they should work on your phone and tablet, as well as your PC. Webcams still use Flash however, which means that they may not work on some devices.
There are several rooms there for different species and locations, as well as a general chat. It also handles private messaging with a tab system so you can be in multiple places at once.
Avatars, genders and locations should be arriving in good time, as well as some other features.
This year's London Pride is on 27 June. Full details can be found here: http://www.puppypride.co.uk/events/london-pride-2015-55
We are currently talking to several London clubs to arrange a pre-Pride changing room with bag check, and an after party. Details will be announced as soon as we have them.
Please note: anyone claiming to be running official events not mentioned on a newsletter, and posted by 'admin' on the Puppy Pride events list is lying.
Another Twitter user is pretending to be in charge of the London Pride Pup Walk. Our only Twitter account is @PuppyPrideUK: http://twitter.com/puppyprideuk
We have run the official Pup Walk at London Pride for 3 years now, and will be running the 4th one in 2015.
If you stumble across this other Twitter user, it would be best to avoid talking to them while we sort out this confusion.
There is a new pet play event in Hampshire on 7 March. More details can be found here: http://www.puppypride.co.uk/events/fun-loving-pets-60
From what I can tell, it's a small event with carpeted floor and obstacles, with events happening. I will try to be there!
Once again Birmingham will be hosting the Pup Social event between 27 March and 29 March. Details can be found on their website here: http://pupsocial.co.uk
Know of any other pup events happening? Get the organisers to add them to the Puppy Pride website here: http://www.puppypride.co.uk/profile/manage-events/edit-event and we will mention them in the next email!
Thats all for this newsletter, hopefully there will be another one soon with the updates on the pride after party!
Pet you all soon! Kye Etherton
