Brand new, no idea what I want

Hello everyone, as I'm sure is the same with a lot of people, I saw some pups at the London Pride parade this year and knew I wanted to join but I have absolutely no idea what about it drew me in. I am therefore looking for someone(s) to help me out, give me advice, etc. because I have absolutely no clue what I want; passive? Dominant? Pup? Dog? Hobby? Owner? Owned? It's all completely new to me.
